When I met Christophe 3 years ago, he had already seen pretty much the whole world from hotel rooms and recording studios. As a cameraman, he travelled to many places in all corners of the globe. Camping was definitely not his cup of tea: too much fuss, not enough luxury, often too cold or too hot, no decent bed, lots of insects… I’m a purebred nature lover (except for the insects). I love sleeping in a tent, whether in a backyard, on holiday or a festival. Although I’d like to go back to basics, I often dragged along about half of my house when I went camping: lots of food, clothes and other stuff.
We both wanted to find a good balance between being in nature without compromising on our daily comfort and luxury. That’s why Christophe offered me a glamping tent for Christmas. I had never been glamping before, but I really loved the concept. We pitched the bell tent in our garden that same day, dragged our mattresses into it and made it extra cosy: lights, a camp fire, lots of popcorn, a good movie, … And so the idea to rent out a furnished bell tent came up. Canvas Nights saw the day of light…
Canvas Nights x Autentic
We had already visited Autentic a couple of time in Renaix when we first tested and then bought cotton canvas bell tents.
Besides the premium quality of their bell tents, we love Autentic and the team for being very supportive in our ideas and being as enthusiastic as we are to make this project work. They actively thought along with us, helped us look for solutions and always took our questions and remarks into account to further optimise their bell tent designs.
We are now also officially an Autentic distributor, so you can come to us for both rentals and purchases of Autentic Bell Tents.
Because life is a daring adventure and we like to persue our dreams every day, we decided to launch our own pop up glamping. From now on, you can come and glamp at Canvas Nights in the beautiful surroundings of Hof van Coolhem in Puurs where you enjoy a cosy glamping stay in all luxury and comfort with a breakfast and apero box.
Summer is not over yet, but our thoughts are already turning to winter. What about winter glamping? To be continued…
