Ben Brumagne founded Forest To Plate 7 years ago as a wild-picking collective that evolved from organising guided walks to an organisation active in various fields. Besides giving culinary workshops, organising wild food trips at home and abroad, training courses on wild picking, Forest To Plate also has a webshop. No endless range of outdoor products, but a smaller webshop that consciously focuses on quality and sustainable products that Forest To Plate also uses in their workshops. Since Forest To Plate‘s mission is to bring people closer to nature, they also organise overnight stays in the middle of the greenery on their beautiful domain in the French Ardennes. Besides staying in their authentic 1920s house, Forest To Plate has also set up a number of luxury cotton canvas glamping tents.
Two summers ago, Forest To Plate got to know Autentic during their search for quality canvas tents. For their own workshops, Forest To Plate mainly deploys larger bell tents – namely the Large Bell Tents and Major Bell Tents – because they can be used in a variety of ways: from luxury accommodation for couples to cosy accommodation to for small families or a group of friends. Through its webshop, Forest To Plate itself offers various tent brands, ranging from different models to different price ranges. During their workshops or on their glamping site in the French Ardennes, Forest To Plate deliberately chooses outdoor equipment of the best quality. Time has taught us that investing in more expensive materials pays off in the long run anyway. And Autentic’s canvas glamping tents have more than proved that in the meantime. They survived a hot summer, stormy autumn weather and very wet cold nights. Besides the quality of the material, the finishing is decisive for Forest To Plate: easy to use, simple to set up and take down, sturdy mosquito netting, … Of course, we are also fans of the Belgian design.
