World of Tents is a company with a heart for tents. It is the parent company of several tent brands, including Alpino, Canopy, Autentic and Alpinter. World of Tents and its brands are headquartered in Renaix and employs about 30 people.

Alpino has been developing and producing tents for scouts and youth organisations since 1959. Canopy develops, produces and personalises folding tents for various customers, from market vendors to hospitals.

Autentic, which was created in 2019, is the most recent brand of World of Tents and develops premium glamping tents. The brand aspires to amaze glampers and campers with its high-end tents in the upcoming years.

As Business Developer for Autentic, you have a passion for tents, travel, outdoor and fun. And more-over, you are thrilled to contribute to the growth of one of the future leading glamping and outdoor living labels.

Some details on the job:

• You follow up on the the existing customer portfolios. This means you stay in touch with customers and make sure they are happy to stay. You understand their needs and regularly introduce them to our new products.
• You actively search for new customers via various channels including events, customer visits, telephone, social media, etc…
• You organise your work autonomously. You will spend quite some time on the road to visit projects and customers. When you are at the (home) office, you also draw up offers and, together with the rest of the team, ensure that everything is followed up properly from an administrative point of view.
• But most of all: You act as a real Autentic ambassador. As you believe in our products, you can’t wait to tell our story to the world.

• Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of any languages is a plus
• You can convince us you are a born salesperson. Experience in Sales, Business Development and an existing network in camping, eventing, outdoor is a plus.
• You like to go all the way. You are not afraid of challenges. You like to build the road, instead of simply following it and you are eager to learn.
• Even though you probably don’t like it, a small amount of administration (making offers, working with our ERP system, …) does not scare you.
